Prison Visiting

Onley Prison

Lynda, Heather and Rosie continue to support families and friends when they come to visit prisoners.

There have been a lot of first time visitors who need support to explain to them how everything works.

There has been an increase in children who suffer from autism so we are building up toys ear muffs and items which are suitable for the children.

A Mother’s Union member has made a donation to be used at Onley directed for prisoners. It is being used to buy back packs for prisoners when they are released who do not have a suitable bag to put their things in and are only given a bin bag.

Forgive me for mentioning Christmas but I do hope you will be able to support the children either by gifts or donations.

As ever thank you so much for your support and prayers.

Rye Hill Prison

Chris visits Rye Hill prison.

'Christmas cards, many hand made that were beautiful and very well received. I did not get to the Carol service myself. There was also an afternoon to meet prisoners that were brought up in care, some visitors went to that and said what a lovely idea that was as there are many with no family. I am still visiting and value your prayers that I can continue, Jonny looks forward to my visits and counts the weeks, he says it makes the months go quicker. Thanks for all the prayers and cards '
